Bende Mayor Hosts Dr. Chima Anyaso , Assures Him of Massive Votes from Itumbauzor in 2027.
The Mayor of Bende Local Government Area, Hon. Deacon Uwabunkonye Bassey, on Saturday hosted the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, at his country home in Ndiwo, Itumbuauzor, Bende LGA, Abia State.
Speaking during the meeting , Mayor Uwabunkonye Bassey assured Dr. Chima Anyaso of the total support of the people of Itumbuzor ahead of the 2027 House of Representatives election.
The Mayor said the people of Itumbuzor would reciprocate the opportunity given him, a son of the land , through the Labour Party, to serve as the Executive Mayor of Bende Local Government Area.
He expressed confidence that the relationship between the Labour Party and the people of Itumbuzor would translate into massive support for Governor Alex Otti and Dr. Chima Anyaso at the polls.
Responding, Dr. Chima Anyaso appreciated the Mayor for hosting him and his entourage, describing the visit as an important opportunity to strengthen relationships and deepen engagement with the people.
He assured the Mayor and the people of Itumbuzor that, if elected, he would provide quality, accessible and accountable representation, while prioritising projects and initiatives capable of positively impacting communities across Bende Federal Constituency.
Dr. Anyaso specifically assured the people of Itumbuzor that he would work towards attracting quality and sustainable development projects to the community and ensure that their interests receive adequate attention at the National Assembly.
He reiterated his commitment to working with relevant stakeholders and government institutions to deliver meaningful development to Bende Federal Constituency starting from 2027.
The Deputy Mayor of Bende Local Government Area Hon Mrs Ngozi Sandra Anya, the Director of Media and Publicity of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Organization were part of the delegation.
