Governor Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, has announced that the iconic 6 lane Port Harcourt Road, Aba, once abandoned for more than 24 years, will finally be unveiled in grand style.

He disclosed this at the Aba Stakeholders Security Trust Fundraising organised by the creme de la creme of Aba, in support of the Governor’s sustained security in Aba, the event was held at the prestigious Aba sports club.

The Governor further revealed that the commissioning will not stop at Port Harcourt Road alone but will also include six other strategic roads across Abia State, signaling a new dawn of infrastructure renewal.

For Aba residents and indeed the entire state, the commissioning of Port Harcourt Road will mark the restoration of dignity to Abia.

After decades of neglect, the road that once symbolized decay is now set to become a landmark of progress.

With the presence of the President, the ceremony promises to be historic and carnival-like, a true celebration of resilience and transformation in Abia.
