A Special Tribute to His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, OFR

On behalf of the Ndigbo Progressive Traditional Rulers Forum, Chairman of the Forum, HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu Oroko Abia wish to extend our warmest congratulations and royal blessings to His Excellency, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, on the historic occasion of his second anniversary in office as the Executive Governor of Abia State.
Two years ago, Ndi Abia entrusted Dr. Otti with a sacred mandate — the mandate of hope, development, accountability, and rebirth. Today, we the custodians of our cultural heritage and traditional institutions, rise with pride and admiration to acknowledge the transformative strides he has made in such a short period.
A Trail of Tangible Progress
Dr. Otti’s leadership has been defined by courage, vision, and a deep commitment to service. Under his watch, Abia State has witnessed a new dawn in the following areas:
- Infrastructural Renaissance:
Major urban and rural roads across Aba, Umuahia, and other parts of the state have been reconstructed with quality and purpose, reviving commerce, easing transportation, and restoring the pride of our commercial nerve centers. - Civil Service Reforms & Salary Payments:
The era of unpaid salaries and demoralized civil servants has been decisively addressed. Workers now receive their entitlements promptly, and pensioners are no longer forgotten — a testament to responsible governance. - Healthcare & Education:
Through revitalization of primary healthcare centers and improvements in educational infrastructure, the Governor is laying the foundation for a healthier, more enlightened Abia. - Security & Rule of Law:
Governor Otti’s administration has strengthened partnerships with security agencies and community leaders, leading to a more secure and stable environment for citizens and businesses alike. - Transparent Governance & Public Confidence:
Perhaps most commendably, Dr. Otti has restored public trust in government. His open, transparent style and prudent management of state resources have set a new standard for governance in the Southeast and Nigeria at large.
