Eight Schools to be revived to standard by Ohuhu Development Union USA before the end of 2024 Commences

Ohuhu Development Union International USA, resolved plans to embark on N48,000,000 million projects in all the eight (8) Secondary schools in Ohuhu clan in Umuahia North L.G.A, of Abia State has began with schools like ohiya, Williams, Adanma girls and Oriamaenyi currently undergoing reconstructions.

Information made available to our news desk has it that work is on top speed simultaneously as our correspondent will visit the scene for a first hand informations and interactions with students and teachers of the said schools.
Recall that the Union said that the projects which would be completed before the end of the year was based on needs assessment carried out in the respective schools.

In an online Interaction with the Executive President of Ohuhu Development Union International USA, Chief Dr. Maduabuchi Prince Gabriel, he expressed hope to galvanize and work together with the Ohuhu indigenes who are in one political office or the other to bring development to Ohuhu clan.

While appreciating the strides recorded by Governor Alex Otti in all the sectors of the State, he disclosed future plans of the Union to embark on Back To School Programme for the indigent children in Ohuhu and also acquire lands for the building of Diaspora village in Ohuhu clan, which will further develop the agrarian community.

He disclosed that Union would also work with the government to promote agriculture in the clan, through the revival of farm settlements in the area, encouraging mechanized agriculture, provision of improved farm seedlings and educating farmers on the Best Agricultural Practices, to cushion the effects of economic challenges.

Prince Gabriel who is also known as ‘Ihemba Ndi igbo’, reminded the people of Ohuhu that growth, development and progress does not thrive favourably in the midst of bitterness and political rivalry, hence the need to jettison all ills for the good of the clan.

Dr Gabriel expressed happiness to the project implementation committee chairman and also the committee total chairman Chief Osondu Ariwodo Agu for his astute and pragmatic way of discharging the duties assigned to him
