Excitement As Hopee Foundation Gives Fund to Petty Traders In Ohuhu

A palpable excitement and words of appreciation have continued to trail the hopee Foundation — a charity-oriented organisation named after the American based medical practitioner and illustrious son of Ohuhu, Umuahia North LGA, Royal High Chief, Dr. Prince Maduabuchi Gabriel, over the recent humanity edge of about 50 homes who benefited in the just concluded support for a start of trading in rural community markets.

Recall that, the founder of Hoper foundation who is also the President of ODUI had, last year, during the yuletide season disclosed those the association he belongs to gave grant to cushion the hardship ravaging the country, promised to give facelift to indigent families to enable them put food in the table for their family members.

Apart from renovating schools at rural communities, the foundation has a deep-seated and age-long history of community development and philanthropy in various areas, ranging from the provision of pipe borne water, assistance to the less privileged, grants to students, business support for Women, medical outreaches to the aged and the people and many other transformative initiatives geared towards making a difference in the rural communities.

In a chat with journalists who were led by the Royal High Chief of the Foundation, Dr Gabriel, while on a visit to spot-check the project, a community leader in Ohiya extolled the philanthropist and Founder of the Hopee Foundation, Dr. Gabriel for his love for his people and his community, particularly as it is reflected in the various projects and programs initiated by his leadership and that of his foundation for the rural communities.

Mr. Ochiobi, who expressed deep elation to the foundation for the school upgrades in and around the house community’s, said the gesture has gone along way to alleviate the suffering of the people while trying to navigate through the almost impassable, non-bikable and motorable roads.

While describing the gesture as the height of patriotism and unprecedented act of kindness undertaken by an individual who’s not in government.
