Fraudulent: SEMB, WAEC OFFICIALS, GOVT SCHOOL PRINCIPALS RAISES WAEC REGISTRATION TO 100k IN ABIA STATE

Abia monarch React following the investigation which reveals that waec officials are Frustrating students with multiple taxation amounting to 100,000 To Halt their educational carrier.

Chairman Umuahia North Council of traditional rulers, HRM Eze Sir Innocent Adiele Nwaigwe made this known to journalists after stumbling on schools across the council areas.

He laments on the outrageous amount levied on public schools by government authorities in Collaboration with officials working with weac and those in charge of educational system in Abia State.

The revered traditional ruler raised alarm over the high cost of waec registration going on across the State, noting that is not the same with other States.

He urged the governor to look inward to avert routs in the system that will bring bad image to the state, adding that given the high rate of waec registration fee ongoing in the state the students now sit at home doing nothing, according to him, this if not checkmate will engage them into illicit act.

Eze Nwaigwe while visiting schools pointed out by some parents, discovered that it is a trend in schools especially in Umuahia North local government area, according to him, the school principals and SEMB have hand in the act.

Eze Nwaigwe prayed the governor to use his office to help this students who are facing this torments and their families with over 100,000 for each candidate who is due to write waec rather than the official charge of 27,000.
According to the traditional ruler, the anonymous who disclosed the information to him said that waec officials, SEMB, education Secretary’s and principals are into the game, adding that it has taken many students off schools engaging them on the streets.

Concerned citizens, traditional rulers and affected families Commends Dr Alex Otti for the new Abia mantra, noting that his good work is changing the face of the state, Eze Nwaigwe thanked the governor for the total overhauling across the sectors, urge his to make good use of eagle eyes to fish out miscreants who’s aim is always to bastardize good works.

The traditional ruler call on the government of Dr Alex Otti to come to the rescue of this students and to avert the rape brewing on the education system.
