*Hon. Sam Onuigbo fight for Federal Secretariat in Abia Yeild Positive Result*

Hon. Sam Onuigbo, former house of representative member, Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constitutency and presently board member, North East Development Commission (NEDC) is an all time leader, and also could be describe as astitute house member during his time. His actions and commitment on the issue of climate change, attraction of federal Secretariat to Abia State and the fight to see his dream of seeing Ikwuano/Akwa-Ibom road project completed come through are some of his outstanding achievements as a house member.
As the house committee Chairman on climate change, several meetings and consultations with stakeholders, development partners both foreign and domestic on the challenge and solution of climate change were held. The effort of Former Rep. Same Onuigbo and implementation of recommendations made are yeilding fruit today. Even now he has not stop laying his voice, while urging the media to show strong support on the issue of climate change.
Former Rep. Onuigbo attracted and fought to have federal Secretariat built in Abia. According to many, Hon. Onuigbo fought tirelessly during his stay as house member to ensure that the federal Secretariat at Ekeoba in Umuahia North is done, but couldn’t realised as a result of no support from the past government. Today, the project is having a positive result as work is ongoing. The present Abia State government led by Governor Alex Otti is showing a strong support to Hon. Sam Onuigbo to ensure that the dream is realised.
The Ikwuano/Ikot-Ekpene/Akwa-Ibom road is another project that has ever gave Former Rep same Onuigbo sleepless nights during his reign as house member. Without relenting, he has been on that road till today and work is ongoing on the road.
With these outstanding performance of Hon. Sam Onuigbo, no doubt his appointment as board member, North East Development Commission (NEDC), by President Amed Bola Tinubu is well deserved. And in deferent fora, he has called on Nigerians to support the president to succeed in his agenda to give Nigeria the desired leadership.
