*HOW EAGLES NETWORK SPECIAL CHRISTMAS BUNDLE ELECTRIFIED OFEME*
Christmas is a time of spiritual introspection to appreciate God for His love to mankind through the birth of Jesus Christ, the Redeemer.
It is also a time for celebration and re-union of family members.
The festival period affords various families the opportunity to not only meet with one another but also carry out one form of ceremony or the other. Beyond that, it avails them the time to cook sumptuous meals. And the favorite is rice and chicken or any other meal. And it may be shocking that not many families in Nigeria can afford the luxury of assessing medical facilities at Christmas and also celebrate Christmas the physical way because of Nigeria of today.
For such families in Ofeme, Ohuhu, Umuahia North local government area, they were still in a pensive mood, wondering how they would join their neighbours for the great feast, when manna literally felt from above in form of a Christmas package from Dr Micheal Igwe.
The surprise Christmas package actually took everybody by surprise in that there was no publicity about it. He quietly instructed his team of doctors, aides to embark on the exercise in a discreet manner, apparently to ensure that the process of benefiting was not in anyway compromised.
I tell you, what was bumper stimulus package was, the Medical Outreach. Dr Mike igwe brought medical doctors from different fields of medical practice to treat infirm persons suffering from different health conditions ranging from:- Eye Screening/treatment, dispensing of Glasses, Referrals, and Rehabilitation, Blood pressure/Blood Glucose Check, Nutritional Status assessment/Dietary Counseling and Health Education on Communicable Disease etc.
What was my major concerned happened to be the Christmas package which contains Rice, Groundnut Oil, Maggi, Semolina, and lots more. Let me keep it for another day. Thanks.
