HRM Eze Sir Nwaigwe Hail Mayor Umuahia North For Reviving Traditional Rulers Meeting After Many Years
HRM Eze Sir Innocent Adiele Nwaigwe, Chairman Umuahia North Council of traditional rulers has described Chief Dr Victor Ikeji, Mayor of Umuahia North as a pragmatic leader, a visionary leader whose developmental strides will stand the taste of time.
Eze Nwaigwe made the remark after the mayor played host to the Abia Central Council of Traditional Rulers who were in the council on 9th May 2024 for their general meeting.
Eze Nwaigwe also applauded the monarchs for ensuring peace in their various domain, which has aided the ongoing infrastructural and developmental projects across the nooks and crannies of the state.
He said the monarchs are witnesses to the various infrastructural projects within their domain that were initiated by the present administration.
He reiterated the commitment of Ndi Eze towards the infrastructure under the leadership of the governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR to the development of every part of the state.
Umuahia North Council of traditional rulers chairman urged the mayor to continue to remember the monarchs and interact with them times without numbers as they will be praying for the governor to continue in providing dividends of democracy to Abians at all levels of governance.
He also called on the Mayor to convey their appreciation to the governor for his various developmental projects currently ongoing in their domains.
Eze Nwaigwe also thanked the Mayor for his good work within his council and assured him of the support of the traditional institution to ensure that the government of the day succeeds.
