I Will Promote Peace, Dignity in Our Traditional Institution….. Eze Ngwuli
HRM Eze Charles Ngwuli who emerged chairman Ohuhu Council of traditional rulers in the just concluded peaceful election yesterday has stated that traditional rulers should attend programs that will discuss how to mitigate hate crimes, and hunger and alleviate poverty in their autonomous communities including their subjects.
“This is the kind of program our traditional rulers should be embracing under my watch I will bring it to board, to discuss how to mitigate hate crimes, end hunger, alleviate poverty, and invest in the most critical areas of development, especially at the grassroots level, instead of celebrating irresponsible individuals who have made no positive impact on the society.”
He stated this while addressing journalists after the election which took place at the palace of Eze Philip Ajomiwe ndu 1 of oriendu autonomous community, commending the traditional rulers who was in attendance at the for the election exercise.
“ the election was held in attendance of HRM Eze Mbakwe, HRM Eze Uzo Nwosu, HRH Eze Elijah Udoka, Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu the outgoing chairman of the council, HRM Eze Innocent Nwaigwe chairman Umuahia North Council of traditional rulers, HRM Eze Emekaobum, HRH Eze Ukaegbu, HRH Eze Paul Uzuegbu, HRH Eze Bobby Aguocha who came second, HRH Eze Chikwekwem.
Eze Ofoegbu commended the traditional rulers for attending and exercised the impactful event which according him, he believe will stand as a testimony to the Ohuhu Nation.”
Eze Ajomiwe made it clear that the Ohuhu populace has a role to play in building the New Ohuhu and appealed to the new chairman to reach out and convince other traditional rulers to promote unity, values, and ideals.
“In building the New Ohuhu that we desire, we all as equal stakeholders in the land must join hands to move the clan forward.
I appeal to the newly elected executives to leverage the chairman’s wealth of knowledge and experience to convince other traditional rulers to promote such ideals, values, and projects that foster peace, reduce insecurity, alleviate poverty, and engender the maximum productivity of our clan especially at the grassroots level.
