I’m Still in APC, I have Not Defected – Hon. Akaliro
The member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly has stated that he has not defected from his party, the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the ruling Labour Party in the State.
This clarification is coming after the two Young Progressive Party (YPP) legislators representing Osisioma-Ngwa South and North confirmed their defection from YPP to the ruling Labour Party in the state during plenary yesterday Tuesday 14th May 2024.
He said the duo of Hon. Fyne Onyekachi Ahuama and Nwogu Iheanacho had their reasons for defecting. For him, he remains a member of the APC and has not defected.
