Joy unspeakable erupted in Abia State following the announcement of CP Isa Danladi Nda, as the new Commissioner of Police Abia State command.
Recall that the Police Service Commission (PSC) under Dr. Solomon Arase, as the Chairman had appointed the Kogi-born Isa Danladi Nda as Commissioner in charge of SWAT, FCID Abuja.
This promotion was part of a larger batch of promotions approved by the PSC, which includes 122 senior police officers.
Shortly after, Police Service Commission (PSC), also announced the appointment of new commissioners of police for the commands in Lagos, Abia, Ebonyi and Akwa Ibom states, of which the hardworking Isa Danladi Nda, was also favoured.
The appointments follow the recent promotion of senior officers within the force, which led to vacancies in these states.
Abians who got the news of the development and who spoke with our correspondent on the condition of anonymity appreciated the Commission for the positing, expressing confidence that the new Abia Commissioner of Police upon resumption of duty, would work harmoniously with the performing Governor Alex Otti in the security of lives and property.
They strongly believe that CP Nda would contribute his quota to a knowledge-driven police force and would chart out pathways for effective policing and internal security management in line with the vision of Governor Otti.
Citing records available, they said that CP Isa Danladi Nda, has played a vital role as CP 1 and waa1 and his role as commander of the pmf was an indelible footprints across the nation.
According to them, the kogi born indigene from igala is an operational intelligent officer in the Nigeria Police Force.
Furthermore, they appreciated the governor for his good efforts to catch a golden fish in the police force like Isa Danladi Nda as the commissioner for Abia State Command.
