MASSIVE JUBILATION AS MR KINGSLEY OKONKWO ANSWERS THE CLARION CALL FOR UMUAHIA NORTH CHAIRMANSHIP FLAG

In what appears to be a significant shift from the regular tensed Clarion calls, the people of Ohuhu, Umuahia North Local Government Area recorded a remarkable history as their illustrious son, humble gentleman, a native of Uhuala/Umuezeoma in Oriendu Autonomous Community in Umuhu who also had thrown his hat into the ring for the Executive Chairmanship position of the local council willingly succumbed to the wish of the people for the service to humanity. Mr Okonkwo, as the people’s choice for the forthcoming Local Government election, thus setting the pace for others to follow.

Mr Okonkwo hosted the ward chairmen of labour party in Umuahia North with the view to make his intention known to them, the 12 men members of the entire electoral ward across Umuahia North aired their minds, noting that they are very pleased with the hospitality and gesture shown them, adding that they love the man Kingsley Okonkwo and will be ready to have him lead labour party in the local government area.

In his appreciation speech, Mr Kingsley Okonkwo, after thanking God for their unanimous endorsement, thanked the Chairmen for their endorsement and assurance of support, he also acknowledged the giant strides of His Excellency, Dr Alex Otti in just a year in office, and noted that the peace and tranquility enjoyed by all and sundry, giving birth to the success of the forthcoming local government election across the state was an evidence of good governance put in place by the most performing Governor in Nigeria. He thanked the Governor who is the leader of the party for coming up with a policy to forestall unnecessary wastes in the face of the current economic quagmire bedevilling the country.
