Umuahia North council of traditional rulers Unveiled Chief Capt Agomuo Chukwunyere as their Royal Gold Awardee
The Chairman planning committee for Umuahia North new yam festival HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu has again Unveil one of the Royal Gold awardees in the forthcoming new yam festival of the traditional rulers council of Umuahia North to be Chief Capt Agomuo Chukwunyere alongside other illustrious sons of Abia State that will be confer with the chieftaincy title and award to celebrate them for their humanity edge.
Eze Ofoegbu reiterated that the 2024 new yam festival will be the first of it kind, noting that the awardees were selected by their track record.
Eze Ofoegbu emphasized on the need to encourage the personalities who are spending their time, money for the development of their communities especially in the area of education grants and scholarships.
He maintained that the festival will hold on the 18th day of September, 2024 at Umuahia North council headquarters.
The paramount ruler disclosed that this year’s festival will be exceptional as there will be many cultural dancers and activities springing from the two sisters clan that is made up of Umuahia North. (Ibeku and Ohuhu)
