Ohuhu Council of Traditional Rulers Welcomes Gov Otti, Hon Obi Aguocha Others For 2025 Iwaji Ohuhu Festival

Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has been announced as the Chief Guest of Honour for the 2025 Iwaji Ohuhu Festival scheduled for Thursday, September 4.

In a release from the chairman of Ohuhu council of traditional rulers, HRM Eze Charles Chionye Ngwuli, the annual event, which will hold at Afugiri Primary School, is expected to attract dignitaries and cultural enthusiasts from across the country.

The special guests at the festival include member representing Ikwuano Umuahia Federal constituency Hon. Obinna Aguocha, and Chief Smart Iheoma, Mayor of Umuahia North LGA, Hon Anderson Akaliro the member representing Umuahia North State constituency at the State House of Assembly will be recognized.

The Royal Father’s also announced Dr. Aham Uko, former commissioner for finance and former Umuahia North, Mayor, Dr. Victor Ikeji, among those to be given Royal honours alongside other prominent Ohuhu sons and friends of Ohuhu

Highlights of the festival will feature cultural dances, masquerade displays, and other performances showcasing the rich heritage of the Ohuhu people and preparations are on top gear to paint the event
