Onurube Nwanne USA Doles Out Grants Worth 12million naira to Small Scale Business Owners, Reignite Their Hopes
In its efforts to revive promising but ailing businesses, encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, and cushion the effect of economic hardship, a Foundation of International repute known as Onurube Nwanne Agbalaoso USA has disclosed plans to give out grants to 40 confirmed business owners.
Disclosing the cheering news while briefing newsmen in Umuahia, Abia State, Chief Dr. Maduabuchi Prince Gabriel, the Benevolence Chair and Vice Chairman of Onurube Nwanne Agbalaoso, strongly believe that the grant which is the sum of N300,000 for each beneficiaries would play a significant role in accelerating living standards, social progress in their various communities and in turn meet the needs of their families.
Prince Gabriel who maintained that the Foundation is also poised to support the development of affordable solutions to fundamental challenges affecting those at the base of the pyramid, revealed that at the past yuletide, the Foundation paid off hospital bills of indigent inmates at the hospitals, who could not afford to pay their bills and also visited the motherless homes with treasurable items.
He revealed that Onurube Nwanne Agbalaoso USA comprises of 600 members from Igbo descent and other tribes and was formed to not only cater for the welfare of members but the vulnerable, indigent and downtrodden.

He posited that the only solution to curb youth restiveness and unemployment is through policies that would encourage and support the youth to embrace farming and agriculture and also a motivation to enroll in skills acquisition trainings.
According to him, this action will lure the youths to focus on farming or entrepreneurial skills and shun the quest for ill-gotten wealth, a pandemic ravaging the society today.
He further disclosed plans of the Foundation to roll out skills acquisition programmes for the Nigerian youth to help them navigate the hardship terrain.
