Rt Hon Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji Felicitates with Abians on Easter Celebration, Calls for Sacrifice, Peace, and Renewed Hope

The immediate past Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji, FNSE, FNICE, FNITHE, has extended heartfelt Easter greetings to the good people of Abia State. In his Easter message, the respected lawmaker expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and the opportunity for Christians across the state to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. He described Easter as a time of deep spiritual reflection, renewal of faith, and a season of hope.

In a message released by his spokesperson Ikechukwu Kelvin Okorie, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji called on Abians to imbibe the virtues of love, peace, sacrifice, and forgiveness, which are the hallmarks of the Easter season. According to him, the death and resurrection of Christ should inspire everyone to live selflessly and work collectively for the betterment of society. He urged citizens to remain steadfast in faith and to continue praying for the peace and prosperity of Abia State and Nigeria at large.

The former Speaker also used the opportunity to commend the resilience and unwavering spirit of Abians in the face of economic and social challenges. He encouraged the people not to lose hope, but rather to keep supporting one another with kindness and compassion, especially during the Easter celebrations. He reminded them that brighter days lie ahead if everyone plays their part in building a stronger and more united state.

In his message, the former Speaker further appealed to political leaders and stakeholders across the state to use the Easter period to reflect on their roles in governance and recommit themselves to serving the people with integrity and transparency. He maintained that true leadership must always be rooted in the love for the people and the desire to uplift the less privileged.

He concluded his message by wishing all Abians a joyful and peaceful Easter celebration. Engr. Orji prayed that the blessings of the resurrection would bring renewed strength, unity, and progress to every home and community in Abia State.
