Chairman South East Progressive Traditional Rulers Council HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, his Umuahia North Council of Traditional Rulers counterpart with other revered traditional rulers His Royal Majesty Eze Innocent Adiele Nwaigwe on Monday,10th of February 2025 conferred on Dr.John Onyema a Chieftaincy Title of Uhukwu Abia Gburuburu.

HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu Oroko Abia expressed optimism that Dr.John Nwachukwu Onyema with his vast experience and a medical practitioner for decades both in Nigeria and America will bring a lot of development in his home land Amaogwugwu community, Umuhu and Ohuhu at large.
Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu Oroko Abia, described the Crown Prince John Onyema as a gift to his generation as the Onyema dynasty has produced kings for over four generations, adding that from the Royal home he deserves more distinguish honour, the chairman South East Progressive Traditional Rulers Council conferred on the American based medical Dr, John Onyema Royal High Chief with the title of Ijiriji Umuahia, to encourage Dr.Onyema to continue on the part he has chosen over the Years to serve his Community as there’s no better way to help bring development to the grassroots other than what Prince Dr John Onyema has been undertaken currently.
The Chairman Umuahia North council of traditional rulers HRM Eze Innocent Adiele Nwaigwe blessed the the dynasty Prince describing him as an astute figure to the revered home which has groomed capacity caliber of personalities that has shown the footprints in Ohuhu land and beyond.
Contributing, chairman Ohuhu council of traditional rulers HRM Eze Charles Chionye Ngwuli, and other revered monarchs HRH Eze Chikwekwem, HRH Eze Paul Uzuegbu noted that royal high Chief Onyema is from a traditional home that has been in existence for over four generations now, noting that the Clarion call by his people to Crown him the king is a Unanimously the agreement by the entire Umuhu clan.
Reacting,Dr.John Nwachukwu Onyema who has served as a Medical Doctor for more than 44 Years both in Nigeria and Overseas described the title conferred to him as an encouragement to do more when the means is available knowing that people recognises his impact in the Community.
He added that he’ll bring his wealth of experience to be bare for the good benefits of his Community and the people at large, saying that he knows a little bit about Primary Health Care having worked with the State and Federal Government.
Dr.Onyema says his focus is on ensuring the development of his immidiate community with the practice as a Physician of over Ten Years experience in Nigeria and Thirty years overseas.
President General Amaogwugwu Sir Kelechi Uwaoma was amongst those who were present at the Ceremony.
The event was agog with cream de la cream personalities who honoured the historic date of long aged dynasty Prince that was honoured by revered monarchs.
