The Chairman South East Progressive Traditional Rulers, Diawa 1 of Umudiawa Ancient Kingdom in Abia State, HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu has called for patriotism amongst his people, especially the youths.
He maintained that the energy used in demarketing Ohuhu Clan could be channeled in a positive and productive things.
The Monarch who publicly condemned the sponsorship of protest against the Member Representing Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency ,Rt Hon Obi Aguocha in a Press Statement released Wednesday August 28, 2024 and made available to newsmen, said the act was barbaric while he urged all the party’s involved to focus on how to unite the people and shun divisive tendencies among the subjects.
The Diawa 1 of Umudiawa Ancient Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Eze Ofoegbu added that it would be insensitive for them to lead a protest against an Ohuhu Man knowing fully that the position Aguocha occupies has eluded the Ohuhu Clan for decades noting that Ohuhu has leadership capable of looking into whatever that is the request or challenges brewing from those individuals angling for a change.
Eze Ofoegbu who stressed the need for every Ohuhu person to support their Representative Aguocha, noted that Ohuhu time is now, also said that Ohuhu traditional rulers council will lay curses on any Ohuhu man who will go contrary to their advice of shunning the sponsored protest.
According to Eze Ofoegbu, ” we are peace loving people, Ohuhu is known as respectful and hospitality fellow who does not play politics of bitterness”. He said.
The revered traditional ruler urged Ndi nkwoachara who are in the front burner to call their children to order, he added that we Ohuhu have had deputy chairman from nkwoachara who enjoyed the total romance of the entire Ohuhu clan.
Calling on Ndi Eze from nkwoachara to weird into the activities of their youths towards an illustrious son of Ohuhu land who has redeemed the political image of Ohuhu.
HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu noted that this actions is been fingered to a political gladiator who is from Ohuhu as allegedly fingered.
