Trade More Estate Residents Endorse Hon Kingsley Okonkwo

In a rare show of support, residents of trade more estate in Umuahia North Local Government Area on Tuesday officially endorsed the frontrunner in the council chairmanship’s race and party stalwart of the Labour Party (LP) in Umuahia North; Hon Kingsley Okonkwo, describing him as one who understands the needs of the people and is committed to advancing the welfare of the community.
Speaking on behalf of the residents who gathered at the estate arena, the President rescue team movement; Mr Donatus Egbu who said the residents have long been key stakeholders in the local economy with their tax payments, praised Okonkwo’s commitment to development and his personal connection to the local community. He thanked Governor Alex Chioma Otti, the LP and critical stakeholders for giving youths the pedestal to serve and vie for leadership positions in the state.
Egbu declared the residents support for Okonkwo Kingsley aspiration, disclosing their plan to embark on a tour of challenges in the estate which is been housed in Umuahia North local government to woo voters and also appealed to the LP aspirant to consider implementing reforms that will make the estate a better place to live and ultimately boost revenue for the local government; when he is elected.
