Umuahia North Council of Traditional Rulers have unveiled plans for the clan’s 2024 new yam (iwa ji Umuahia North) festival
Accordingly, the festival will hold on the 18th day of September, 2024.
The Chairman Central Organizing Committee, HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, of Umudiawa ancient kingdom stated this while interacting with media men at the Umuahia North Council headquarters, the venue for the program will be at the local government headquarters.
The Diawa 1 of Umudiawa, disclosed that this year’s festival will be exceptional as there will be many cultural dancers and activities springing from the two sisters clan that is made up of Umuahia North. (Ibeku and Ohuhu)
