Federal College of Education Ofeme Ohuhu, was one the few institutions approved by the late President, Mohammadu Buhari, at the twilight of his administration in 2023.

However, among the approved institutions the Federal College of Education Ofeme Ohuhu, is way ahead, this was attributed to the dedication of the pioneer Management staff made up of the Provost, Dr Titus Sunday Ezeme, the Registrar, Lady Felicia Coleman Ibe, the Bursar, Amaobi Chikereze Ononogbu and the Librarian, Bulus Celeb Damen.

Their commitment to ensure the growth of the institution elicited positive comments from the Council Chairman, Hajia Rabiu Hussain Adamu, “your sacrifices, commitment, dedication to making the college a reality is top-notch. We appreciate your tireless efforts which have brought the institution to this impressive stage”. She said.

Again, the Fe toderal College of Education Ofeme Ohuhu, a Citadel of Academic Excellence has in two years of its existence continued to record milestones in every aspect of it’s academic life. With the assemblage of quality Academic and Non Academic staff, the college has continued to soar in Teacher Education in Nigeria.

As a college that is conscious of time and following the academic calendar aimed at ensuring that their scholars graduate with others matriculated her first set of students precisely on September 26th, 2025. It conducted her first semester Exams before the Christmas vacation in 2025 after a rigorous academic exercise.

Despite being very young, the college through efforts of the Council members led by Hajia Rabiu Hussain Adamu, and the management led by the Provost Dr Titus Sunday Ezeme, attracted projects that will soon transform the college to one of the best in Nigeria.

Through their connections, good interpersonal relations, and goodwill, the Tertiary Education Trust Fund( TEDFUND), has approved the construction of a multimedia lab, Laboratory, library, Academic staff block, perimeter fencing with modern security house, two hundred (200) desktop computers, ten(10) laptops, solar inverter, the on going seventy two(72) female hostel approved by the Federal ministry of Education and an administrative building.

According to the Provost, Dr Titus Sunday Ezeme, the management and the council are determined to make the federal College the best in Teacher Education in Nigeria and beyond in line with her moto; ‘ to educate to librate the mind’. ” To demonstrate our determination to make FCE Ofeme, Ohuhu the best, our students are put through rigorous teaching both theory and practical and are about to start their second semester exams”. He stressed.
