YOUTH DEVELOPMENT DR MIKE IGWE’S DETERMINATION TO TRANSFORMING THE YOUNG MINDS
The President and founder eagles network international has since discovered that youths are integral to the development of the world economy, as he continuously pays premium attention to the plight of the youth since he began his humanity edge mission as the eagles network outreach decade now. His commitment to transforming the youth of Abia State through various youth-centred programmes aimed at youth development has won him the status of a ‘Youth-friendly personality’.
The US based physician is indeed a youth friendly practitioner. Dr igwe’s intention to calve the empowerment Youth scheme from the existing government Ministry of Youth Development, is a testament to his audacious strategy of developing the youths of the State and repositioning them to compete favourably with their counterpart in Nigeria and beyond. By the creation of the idea of setting up a business which the multiplier effect is geared towards feeding homes and establishing meaningfully, more attention and focus shall be given to the development of the youth much more than ever.
One of the primary roles of youth in socio-economic development is through entrepreneurship. Young people all over the world are increasingly engaging in entrepreneurial activities, creating jobs and contributing to economic growth. Eagles network international, a successful entrepreneur organization is fully aware that the youth are the catalyst for economic development. Thus, he has been actively involved in key programmes targeted at youth’s elevation and progress. Such Programmes include sponsorship of our teeming youth through the proposal asked for and Entrepreneurial Development Centre established, Skill Acquisition Centre and Sponsorship of various youth for agro and allied manufacturing training on Agriculture and Production.
