Bende Teachers Forum Visits Dr.CChima AnyasoOFUJI), Pledges Support Ahead of 2027
The Bende Teachers Forum, the umbrella body of teachers in both primary and secondary schools across Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, has paid a courtesy visit to the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, and expressed its readiness to support his candidacy ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The forum’s executive members, led by the NASU Chairman in Bende, Comrade Ogboso Chika, and NUT Chairman, Comrade Chinedu Esobe, alongside the Education Secretary of Bende Local Government Area, Mrs. Ogbeyealu Udensi, made their position known during the meeting at the campaign office of Dr. Anyaso in Igbere.
Speaking on behalf of the forum, Comrade Ogboso said the delegation came to identify with Dr. Anyaso and express their support for his aspiration to represent Bende Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
“We have come today to identify with you and say that we are supporting you to bring quality representation to Bende Federal Constituency,” he stated.
The teachers also expressed their willingness to mobilise their members in support of Dr. Anyaso and the Labour Party as political activities ahead of the 2027 elections continue to gather momentum.
Responding, Dr. Anyaso appreciated the teachers for the visit and for expressing their confidence in his candidacy.
He called on them to continue to Support Governor Alex Otti is it is the best thing to do so that the good works can continue till 2031.
“I want to appreciate you all for coming and pledging to support this project. I want to assure you that I will not disappoint you,”
“We must do our best to ensure the reelection of Governor Alex Otti come 2027” Anyaso said.
He described the engagement as part of the broader “Divine Project” aimed at building what he described as a more prosperous Bende Federal Constituency with the Labour Party.
