GOV ENO’S COMPASSIONATE HOME BREATHES LIFE ON URUAN VULNERABLE FAMILY

Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has charged beneficiaries of the ARISE Compassionate Homes to put the 500, 000 Naira business grants given them in addition to the fully furnished two-bedroom bungalows to optimal use.

The Governor, represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon Frank Archibong, gave the charge today at Mbiaya in Uruan LGA where he handed over Compassionate home to a vulnerable family of Mr/Mrs. John Okokon and reiterated his administration’s commitment to grassroots development.

On his part, Special Assistant to the Governor on Humanitarian Services, Prince Nsikanabasi Umoekpo, while giving an overview of the project, said the home is a two bedroom bungalow fully furnished in line with specification.

Stakeholders led by the Political Adviser to the Governor, Prince Godwin Ntukudeh highlighted the various developmental projects initiated by the current administration and commended the Governor for changing the story of the Okokon family, while assuring him of continuous support from the people of Uruan Local Government Area.
