Governor Eno Celebrates Planet Radio at Eleven
Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has sent his felicitations to Mr. Anthony Affiah, the Chief Executive Officer of TAF Media Group, the owners and operators of Planet Radio and Spectrum TV, respectively, on the occasion of the eleventh anniversary of the radio station’s commencement of commercial operations.
In a goodwill message released by his Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udoh, Governor Eno lauded Mr. Affiah for his pioneering role in the establishment of a privately-owned radio station.
“Eleven years ago, you took the leap of faith by establishing the first privately-owned and operated radio station in our state, Planet Radio.
“It was a bold and audacious move. Today, eleven years later, you are still waxing strong, if not stronger.
“I salute your spirit of industry, of dare and drive, and you should be happy and fulfilled for charting this course which today has blossomed with other privately-owned radio stations, reporting, analyzing, and projecting our dear state.
“As you celebrate eleven years of hard work and growth, I assure you of our continuous partnership as we arise to distill and project the uniqueness of our state and our people.
“Happy eleventh anniversary!”
