His Highness Eze Ifeanyi Anyaogu, Bet9ja Takes President Peace Cup Competition to Next Level

National Coordinator, Nigeria’s President Peace Cup, His Highness, Eze-Ifeanyi Anyaogu has called on the government at different levels and other decision makers to utilise the effectiveness of Sports for Peaceful co-existence in Nigeria.

He made the call at the final of the Nigeria’s President Peace Cup held yesterday in Abuja at the Aguiyi Ironsi Football Arena between Royal International Football Academy of Abuja and Top Rovers FC of Niger.

According to Eze-Ifeanyi, his motive to take the youths off the street propelled him to key into the Nigeria’s President Peace Cup.

President of the African Youth Sports Federation, AYSOF and Chairman Main Organising Committee of the Nigeria’s President Peace Cup, Dr. Ahmed Lawal said the President’s Cup had produced lots of the country’s football icons.

The final of this year’s President Peace Cup between Royal International Academy and Top Rovers ended 4-1 on penalties in favour of Top Rovers FC after regulation time stood at 1-1.

Reacting to the outcome of the game, Rovers FC Coach, Timothy Agbeen praised his side for their victory, but admitted that his opponents were a hard nut to crac.

For Royal Academy FC Coach, Abdullahi Yusuf said his team might have lost, but their tenacity is a positive take home take home from the match.

The Nigeria’s President Peace Under-20 Men’s Football Championship began on the 24th of this month and ended yesterday.
