HRM EZE NWAIGWE Welcomes Niger Delta Affairs Minister, Charges Him on Thorough Investigation for Quality Jobs
The chairman Umuahia North Council of traditional rulers, HRM Eze Sir Innocent Adiele Nwaigwe has prayed the minister for Niger Delta Commission to see Abia state as a second home and work with the member representing ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency hon Obi Aguocha to foster development which the commission represent.
Eze Nwaigwe stated this when he received the minister Engnr Abubakar Momoh and his team who were in Abia to inspect projects done by NDDC in his palace at umule nso, ohuhu, Umuahia North local government area of Abia state.
Eze Nwaigwe advised the minister on the need to do a thorough investigation on the ministry projects in the state to ensure quality standards are maintained.
Eze Nwaigwe commended the good romance between the minister and the member representing ikwuano Umuahia hon Obi Aguocha charge them to continue.
According to him, “we don’t know your office but we know our son Obi Aguocha who will attract good developmental strides from your ministry to us” he said. Adding that Abia state deserves NDDC projects to add to the good work of governor Alex Otti’s Strategic Endeavours.
Highlights of the occasion was the home coming title as Enyioma Abia given to the honourable minister by the traditional rulers council.
Earlier in his speech, the minister for Niger Delta Affairs, Engnr Abubakar Momoh informed the traditional rulers that they are in the state to inspect projects under NDDC going on in the state, expressed readiness to partner with the traditional institution and the government of Abia state to foster development .
Momoh emphasized that the ministry prioritises partnership over competition to enable them serve the people better and promote sustainable growth in the region.
The Umuahia North Council of traditional rulers chairman and secretary including his counterpart of the Ohuhu Council of traditional rulers Eze Engnr Ngwuli and his fellow Ezes were present during the visit.
