OKOBO TRANSITION CHAIRMAN HAILS GOVERNOR ENO’S COMPASSIONATE GESTURE

…REAFFIRMS SUPPORT TO GOV ENO’S ARISE AGENDA

The Transition Committee Chairman of Okobo Local Government Area, Hon. Engr. George Henshaw has praised the Akwa Ibom State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno for his kindness and dedication to the development of the rural communities.

In his speech at the handing over ceremony, Engr. George Henshaw described Governor Eno’s action as a testament to his administration’s commitment to the welfare of vulnerable members of the community. He praised the Governor’s leadership, saying it has brought hope and positive change to the people of Okobo.

Engr. Henshaw also reaffirmed Okobo peoples support to Governor Eno’s Arise Agenda, saying it aligns with the aspirations of the people of Okobo. He pledged to continue working with the Governor to ensure the successful implementation of the agenda.

The Chairman’s commendation comes after Governor Eno handed over a fully furnished two bedrooms bungalow to a deserving beneficiary, Mr. Sunday Ufuo a native of Udung Ukpong village in Okobo Local Government Area of the state.

According to the Chairman, Governor Eno’s gesture is a testament to his administration’s commitment to the welfare of vulnerable members of the community. “This compassionate home is a symbol of Governor Eno’s resolve to provide hope and support to those who need it most,” the Chairman said in a statement.

The Chairman noted that Governor Eno’s leadership has been a blessing to the people of Okobo, and his tireless efforts to improve their lives are deeply appreciated. “We are fortunate to have a leader like Governor Eno who cares about the well-being of his people,” the Chairman added.

The Transition Chairman also supported the Governor’s gesture by donating a brand new Samsung LCD Television with a Decoder to Mr Sunday Ufuo.

The Arise compassionate home is the latest in a series of humanitarian efforts by Governor Eno’s administration to provide support to vulnerable members of the community. The gesture has been widely praised by residents of Okobo, who see it as a demonstration of the Governor’s commitment to their well-being.
