ROYAL VISIT: ENGR USAK DELIVERS ON PROMISE OF ROYAL DIVAN TO CLAN HEAD OF ASUNA NUNG OKU
In a delightful turn of events, Engr. (Dr) Ekerette Usak, alongside his beloved wife, made an unexpected visit to the Clan Head of Asuna Nung Oku, HRH Etebom (Hon) E. A. Itiat Udo Udang III, at his regal residence.
This visit was a special occasion for Engr Usak to fulfill his commitment—previously announced at the inaugural meeting of the Asuna Nung Oku Clan Council of Traditional Rulers—to gift the palace with an exquisite Royal Divan.
HRH Etebom Itiat on receipt of the sofas graciously bestowed royal blessings upon Engr Usak and his family for honoring their word and enhancing the palace’s grandeur with a majestic settee.
The Royal Father emphasized the importance of unity in mobilizing resources and intellect to pave a prosperous path for the community.
Obongawan Ndifreke Etebom Itiat, the Clan Head’s wife, joined in with heartfelt prayers of goodwill.
The ceremonial presentation was witnessed by Nsùng Idúng Ikot Obio-Eket, Chief Udofia Harford, and fellow members of the Ikot Obio-Eket village council.
Dr Usak holds the esteemed position of Chairman at the Nigeria Society of Engineers, Eket Branch and had a notable career with ExxonMobil, a leading oil multinational company in Nigeria.
Previously honored as Adaha by the Clan Council, Engr Usak was accompanied by his wife Mrs Usak, Elder Eno Sampson, and Comrade Etietop Umoh during this memorable visit.
