Rt. Hon. Austin Okezie-Ugolee Welcomes Hon. Nwogu and Hon. Ahuama to the Labour Party!
Today, Osisioma Ngwa LGA and Abia State witness a major political shift as Hon. Iheanacho Nwogu and Hon. Fyne Ahuama officially join the Labour Party.
This significant move is celebrated by Rt. Hon. Austin Okezie-Ugolee, Deputy Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly.
Both Hon. Nwogu and Hon. Ahuama announced their departure from the Young Progressive Party (YPP) and their intent to join the Labour Party during a plenary session on May 14, 2024.
Their formal reception into the Labour Party took place today in Osisioma, with high-profile dignitaries, including the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, in attendance.
Rt. Hon. Austin Okezie-Ugolee, along with Labour Party leaders and other top government officials, welcomed and celebrated this pivotal political realignment.
