Dr. Muhammad Lawal, the president of Africa youth sport Federation, noted that the purpose of the tournament is to expose the hidden talented among youths.

He said: “We use tournament for the peace of the country. And to expose the hidden talented, this competition have been on for the past 24 years. So, not that we are organizing the competition for President Bola Tinubu but for the office presidency.

“We have been organizing the competition even right from the time of a military government that we have in Nigeria, since during the general Abraham Babangida these competitions have been on.”
