The deputy speaker House of Representatives Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu Yesterday, I had the distinct honour of receiving the leadership of Ndi Igbo Progressives Traditional Rulers Council on a courtesy visit to the Renewed Hope Partners Office in Umuahia, Abia State.
During the meeting, the traditional leaders took turns to express their heartfelt appreciation for the leadership of the current administration under the Renewed Hope Mandate of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, reaffirming their unwavering support and commitment to its success and continuity.
Rt Hon Ben kalu assured them that the President has consistently demonstrated that the concerns and aspirations of Ndi Igbo are close to his heart. Through deliberate policies, strategic appointments, and targeted interventions across the Southeast, He has shown genuine commitment to the progress and inclusion of Igbo people.
According to him, “I am deeply grateful to our Traditional Rulers for the love, prayers, and encouragement they have extended to me”. He noted that these prayers have strengthened his resolve to continue to do more, with vigour for his people.
