Dr Chima Anyaso Partners Ada Abia Festival for Fitness Walk to Mark Abia @35
The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr Chima Anyaso, on Saturday joined the Ada Abia Festival team for a fitness walk in commemoration of Abia State’s 35th anniversary.
The fitness walk, organised in partnership with the OFUJI Movement, brought together political stakeholders, supporters and members of the public as part of activities marking the state’s anniversary.
Also present at the event were the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, Commander MacDonald Uba;Former World Heavyweight Wrestling Champion, Osita Offor, also known as De Ultimate Commander,the Director-General of the Chima Anyaso Campaign Council, Pastor Okechukwu Dike and the Coordinator of the Ada Abia Festival, Peterson Agu Mazi Abia
Participants commenced the walk from Delatinos, moving through Azikiwe Road, Aba Road, Bank Road, Okpara Avenue, Isi Gate and Bende Road, before returning to Delatinos, where the exercise came to an end.
Speaking after the walk, Dr Anyaso expressed appreciation to the organisers of the Ada Abia Festival for partnering with the OFUJI Movement to promote fitness and community engagement.
He also assured participants that a similar fitness walk would be organised in Bende ahead of the January 2027 General Election, describing the initiative as an opportunity to promote healthy living and strengthen community participation.
