*A PRIVATE VISIT TRANSFORMED INTO A STRATEGIC FAMILIARIZATION ENGAGEMENT*
*Former member of the House of Representatives, Rep. Sam Onuigbo, who represented Umuahia/Ikwuano Federal Constituency from 2015 to 2023, paid a courtesy visit to the City Boy Movement Coordinator for Umuahia North, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha Elias, at his Umuagu Ngolori Villa. In his introductory address, the Director General of the senatorial campaign for Rep. Sam Onuigbo, Dr. Patrick Ikechi, former Chairman of Ikwuano L.G.A, who was accompanied by Chief Mrs. Ego Nwanmuo, Hon. Lady Chinyere Ehilegbu, Chief Augustine Anyaegbu, Pastor Henry Okezie, and Hon. Denis Agbakwuru, described the visit as a familiar one, noting the longstanding relationship between Rep. Sam Onuigbo, the Elias family, and the people of Umuagu Ngolori and Afougiri community at large. In his welcome address, Hon. Emeka Ihedioha Elias warmly received the delegation and expressed appreciation for the courtesy call, while highlighting the tangible benefits and developmental strides the community enjoyed during Rep. Sam Onuigbo’s tenure in the 8th and 9th National Assembly.*
*Speaking further, Rep. Sam Onuigbo recounted his visible and community-verified achievements, while extolling Hon. Emeka Ihedioha Elias as a critical backbone in his early political journey, a legacy he noted has been sustained through his family. He emphasized that his visit was deliberately symbolic, as he chose the venue as his first point of call to formally signal his senatorial ambition. Also speaking, Mrs. Ulonma Ohadigha, APC Secretary Afougiri, commended Rep. Sam Onuigbo for his transformational leadership, noting how his representation significantly elevated the status of the community, while assuring him of their continued support. Other stakeholders who lent their voices included Mr. Obilor Lucky Adiole, APC Youth Leader Afougiri Ward, and Mr. Onyekachi Akwukwuigbu (Afoja), Organizing Secretary.*
