Jubilation as Rt Hon Austin Nmeregini Donates Poles, Restored Light to Ubani Estate Community
The jubilation rented the air as trade more estate residents had light after two months of being in the dark.
Young children and mothers could not hold their tears as they were celebrating, shouting Ugo Lee! Ugo Lee!! across the streets of the estate on Thursday evening.
Our correspondent who stumbled on them gathered that the residents have not had electricity supply for over two months, according to some women who spoke with our reporter noted that their Poles damaged and could not get anyone for help until the leader of the rescue team in the estate and his arsenals reached out to the deputy speaker who ran to their plea and today the entire community is smiling.
They commended Rt Hon Austin Nmeregini for showing them love, adding that his gesture has reignited hope on them.
Leader of the rescue team comrade Donatus Egbu thanked the deputy speaker for the swift response to their challenges, describing his actions as something that has build an indelible footprint in the heart of the residents.
Comrade Donatus Egbu added that the deputy speaker is the kind of leader the people are yearning for, adding that he has human feelings and very pragmatic in all his doings.
He thanked him while using the medium to disclose that through the deputy speaker, the governor’s plan is on pipeline to give the estate residents health center facility and other dividend of democracy which represents what the administration of governor Alex Chioma Otti stands for.
