Dr. Titus Sunday Ezeme, PhD Joined Nigerian Provosts for the International Academic Engagement.
The Provost of Federal College of Education, Ofeme, Ohuhu, Abia State, Dr. Titus Sunday Ezeme, PhD, lead the College’s delegation to the *Global Leadership Conference 2026 (GLC 2026)* which was held in *Istanbul, Turkey*.
The conference, hosted by *Istanbul Aydin University* in partnership with the *UNESCO Chair on Cultural Diplomacy, with the theme: “Empowering Digital Transformation in Education, Leveraging World Emerging Technologies and Partnerships.”
Dr. Titus Sunday Ezeme who joined under the *Committee of Provosts, Nigeria Colleges of Education* for official academic visits and institutional meetings with leading Turkish universities and innovation hubs including Istanbul Topkapi University, Altinbas University, Marmara Teknokent, Gebze Technical University, Yildiz Technical University, and others, said the event provides him the opportunity not just to learn how certain things are done especially in the teacher education across the globe but equally to forge partnership that will help shape the future of the nation’s education system.
The event is supported by *TETFund Tertiary Education Trust Fund*.
Speaking to journalists at the conference, the Provost noted that his participation in GLC 2026 will provide FCE Ofeme the opportunity to build global partnerships, adopt emerging technologies, and position the College for 21st-century educational leadership. ” I am committed to bringing global best practices home to advance teaching, learning and innovation at FCE Ofeme”. He said.
It may be recalled that the Federal College of Education Ofeme Ohuhu, through share dedication of her pioneer Management staff has on several occasions positioned the institution in the global limelight.
