The traditional rulers of Ohuhu, led by His Royal Majesty Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu, His Royal Majesty Eze Charles Ngwuli, and His Royal Majesty Eze Innocent Nwaigwe, have passionately appealed to the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, to urgently intervene in the rehabilitation of the severely dilapidated road leading to the Federal College of Education (FCE), Ofeme, Umuahia.
The appeal was made during their visit to the institution, where the royal fathers expressed deep concern over the deplorable condition of the access road. They described the state of the road as unfortunate and a major challenge affecting the growth and accessibility of the college.
The monarchs called on the Abia State Government to fulfil its promise of reconstructing the road, stressing that improved access would enhance the institution’s development and create a more conducive environment for learning.
According to the royal fathers, the Federal College of Education, Ofeme, is a source of pride to the Ohuhu people and a valuable educational asset to Abia State. They urged the government to give the road the urgent attention it deserves in order to sustain the progress and future of the institution.
They expressed optimism that Governor Alex Otti, known for his commitment to infrastructure development across the state, would respond positively to their heartfelt appeal.
