Dr Okengwu Led Caretaker Committee Assures Ndi Ohuhu That They Will Deliver On The Mandate, With Their Cooperation
The newly constituted Caretaker Committee of Ohuhu Welfare Union has promised to deliver a free, fair and credible election for all interested candidates.
In their inaugural meeting today 1/May/ 2026 the chairman Dr Emeka Okengwu stated that the committee members will act according to the constitution, noting that the mandate given to the committee by Ndi Eze and the Elders in Council is to ensure a transparent election.
Dr Okengwu urged Ndi Ohuhu to see the Welfare Union election as a family thing, adding that is a selfless service to Ohuhu land.
According to him, ” the committee is expected to have the documents used by the former committee to enable them function optimally within the few days given.
Dr Okengwu call on stakeholders to cooperate with his team.
He reiterated that under his watch the committee will perform it’s duties in the overall interest of fairness, equity and justice for Ndi Ohuhu without fear nor favour.
