Ohuhu Welfare Union Election: HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu Call For Extension on Timetable
Former Chairman Ohuhu Council of traditional rulers His Royal Eminence Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu has raised alarm over the suspicious act by the care taker committee of Ohuhu Welfare Union noting that they have been bought over.
The revered traditional ruler noted that they have no such power to disqualify any aspirant, according to Eze Ofoegbu, “every free born of Ohuhu land has the right to contest election in the clan” adding that the electoral committee deserve to extend their electoral timetable to enable them sort out the grey areas, the monarch noted that the committee seems to have been allegedly compromised both on the delegates list and candidates names.
Eze Ofoegbu frowned following the information available to him.
The available information has it that the electoral committee has finalized plan to declare their choice candidate as the next President general Ohuhu Welfare Union on the 27th April 2026.
