The Renewed Hope Ambassadors in Akwa Ibom State have commended the traditional rulers of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District for their unanimous endorsement of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Senate President Godswill Obot Akpabio, and Governor Umo Bassey Eno ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the State Coordinator of the group, Obong Prince Ikim, the organisation described the endorsement as a strong expression of confidence in the leadership and performance of the three leaders at both national and state levels.
The group noted that the decision of the royal fathers reflects the trust of traditional institutions in policies and programmes aimed at promoting development, stability, and inclusive governance in Akwa Ibom State and Nigeria.
According to the statement, the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, a support group championing the re election of President Tinubu, considers the endorsement consistent with its mission of promoting continuity and good governance. The inclusion of Governor Eno and Senate President Akpabio in the endorsement, the group said, further reinforces a shared vision for sustained progress in the state.
The organisation also reaffirmed its commitment to grassroots mobilisation, pledging to intensify engagement across communities, wards, and local government areas in preparation for the 2027 elections.
It stated that members would continue to work with stakeholders and supporters to translate public confidence into electoral success, with the aim of advancing the welfare of Akwa Ibom people and strengthening national development.
Obong Prince Ikim assured the endorsed leaders of the group’s continued loyalty and support, describing the moment as a significant boost to the Renewed Hope movement in the state.
