*14 BRIGADE COMMANDER PRESENTS COMMEMORATIVE PLAQUE AS HE BIDS FAREWELL TO MAJ C ALFRED*
The Headquarters 14 Brigade Nigerian Army on Monday, 8 June 2026, organized a send-forth ceremony in honour of Major Celestine Alfred, held at the Officers’ Mess during the Commander’s Conference. The event, which commenced at 0900hrs brought together officers and personnel of the Brigade to celebrate selfless service of the senior officer as he proceeds to a new unit.
Major Celestine Alfred, who served as Staff Officer Grade Two Admin and Logistics was recognized for his dedication, professionalism, and invaluable contributions to the 14 Brigade during his tour of duty.
An ardent reader, traveller, and swimmer, Maj Alfred is happily married and the union is blessed with four children.
In recognition of his exemplary service and enduring contributions to the Brigade, Commander 14 Brigade Brigadier General Ahmad Mansur Dikko presented a commemorative plaque to the posted out senior officer. The presentation symbolizes the Brigade’s appreciation for his unwavering dedication, loyalty, and professionalism throughout his years of service.
The send-forth ceremony at the Officers’ Mess provided an opportunity for officers and personnel to celebrate Maj C Alfred’s achievements and express their gratitude for his invaluable contributions and enduring legacy.
As he embarks on his journey to his new unit and appointment, officers and men of 14 Brigade Nigerian Army bids farewell to Maj Celestine Alfred continued success, good health, and fulfilment in all his future endeavours.
