*14 BRIGADE MILITARY INTELLIGENCE REGIMENT HOLDS DECORATION CEREMONY FOR NEWLY PROMOTED OFFICER*
14 Brigade Military Intelligence Regiment on Thursday, 7 August 2026 held a decoration ceremony at the office of the Commanding Officer, 14 Brigade Military Intelligence Regiment (14 MIR), where Lieutenant Daniel Asuquo Unoh was officially decorated with the rank of Captain.
In his remarks, 14 Brigade Commander, Brigadier General AM Dikko congratulated Captain Daniel Asuquo Unoh on his well-deserved promotion, describing it as a recognition of his dedication, professionalism and commitment to duty.
He urged the newly promoted officer to see his elevation as a call to greater responsibility, exemplary leadership, and unwavering loyalty to the Nigerian Army.
The Brigade Commander further encouraged him to remain disciplined, uphold the core values of the Service, and continue to discharge his responsibilities with diligence and integrity in support of the operational objectives of the Brigade.
In response, Captain Daniel Asuquo Unoh expressed profound gratitude to the Chief of Army Staff, the Commander 14 Brigade, his commander, colleagues, and family members for their support and confidence in him. He pledged to justify the confidence reposed in him by remaining committed to the highest standards of military professionalism and service to the nation.
The ceremony concluded with photographs to commemorate the occasion.
