Abia Solidarity Movement sympathizes with HRM Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu diawa of Umudiawa on the sad story involving him and his family in an accident few days ago.

In a courtesy call they paid to his palace last weekend, High Chief Onyekachi Ukabuike the chairman of the group thanked God for preserving the lives of the revered traditional ruler and his entire family, describing the sad event as a temptation, High Chief Ukabuike noted that is only the grace of God that saved Eze Ofoegbu. His Royal Majesty while narrating the accident said that the accident took place at the express junction close to his house while on heading home to have a good time with his family, adding that it is still a mirage to him.
The chairman of the group said they came following a phone call from their member who saw the damaged vehicle on the scene of the event and hurridly put call across to the chairman for urgent intervention, pointing that God will make available, friends and well wishers to join hands together in fixing the vehicle speedily as the only means the traditional ruler can make movements.
He thanked God for preserving the lives of the family of their patron.
According to him, “I want to use this medium to appeal to our dynamic governor of Abia State. The performing Governor Dr Alex Chioma Otti to kindly extend the olive tree to this revered monarch with the view to releasing his long suspending salary arrears, the group says that the monthly stipend will serve as a hope reigniting in a moment like this, for him to make good use of it especially at this point that his SUV car was badly damaged.
